Popular Hawaii hiking trail shut after 37 fall sick in 'rare' norovirus outbreak
The Kalalau Trail on Kauai island in Hawaii has been shut down following reports of over three dozen hikers contracting norovirus. Health officials are evaluating the risk and disinfecting the trail, which will remain closed until at least September 19. Norovirus spreads easily through contaminated surfaces and causes gastrointestinal issues.
