Cool weather forecast offers hope in battling intense Southern California blaze
Extreme temperatures have fueled a wildfire in Southern California, forcing 6,000 people to evacuate and threatening thousands of homes near the San Bernardino National Forest. The Line Fire has created its own weather systems. Firefighters hope to gain control with cooler weather expected after Tuesday. The blaze covers about 41 square miles and is 5% contained.
