Year 2024 is on track to be warmest year on record: WMO
The World Meteorological Organization reports that 2024 is on track to be the hottest year on record, potentially exceeding the 1.5 degrees Celsius warming threshold set by the Paris Agreement. This projection, based on data from January to September, surpasses the previous record set in 2023.
