Brush fire strike Neversink Mountain in Pennsylvania, evacuations underway
A large wildfire on Neversink Mountain in Reading, Pennsylvania, forced evacuations late Friday night. The fire, fueled by dry conditions and wind, was visible from miles away. Firefighters battled the blaze, which threatened approximately 100 homes. By Saturday morning, the winds subsided, and firefighters made progress, allowing residents to return home. One firefighter sustained a minor injury.
