Taiwan slowly returns back to work after Typhoon Krathon receded

Typhoon Krathon caused significant damage in Southern Taiwan, flooding streets and breaking windows in Kaohsiung. Local governments declared continue repair efforts, as the storm downgraded to a tropical depression. Power outages persist for 100,000 households, while two deaths and 667 injuries have been reported. Transportation, including flights and rail services, remains disrupted.
