'Life-threatening situation' in Japan: Ishikawa battles flooding threat
In response to heavy rainfall, Japanese authorities have urged tens of thousands in Ishikawa to evacuate due to rising river levels posing flood risks. Approximately 30,000 residents in Wajima and Suzu are affected. The region is still recovering from a recent magnitude-7.5 earthquake that caused extensive damage and loss of life.
